We welcome registrations to the Patient Hackathon from anybody who wishes to make a meaningful contribution to improving the healthcare journey for patients and their caregivers.
Our goal is to create a super intense, creative and rewarding experience for all involved - and ultimately to help you launch innovative projects that will make a real difference to the lives of patients and their caregivers. That’s why we are looking for a good mix of skills, especially patients and their caregivers, healthcare professionals, designers (including service designers), developers and other technology specialists.
Important, you do not need technical skills (although such skills are obviously welcome)! If you can contribute good ideas and help make those ideas a reality then we’re very interested in hearing from you!
The 5 challenges we try to tackle this year are:
Screening and Diagnosis
How might we ease distress, empower patients and improve diagnoostic accuracy and speed?
Self-Management of Disease
How might we help patients manage their disease better, with fewer burdens and more support?
Folluw Up and Monitoring
How might we improve the interdisciplinary care and follow-up of patients with chronic illness?
Patients at Work
How might we improve the patient experience in the work context?
How might we improve communication between patients and healthcare professionals?
